Think Green is our company-wide environmental and sustainability initiative which includes an
active committee of staff members from across all our business operations and is committed to:

  • Reduce electricity, water and waste by 5%
  • Reduce water consumption by 5%
  • Invest in waste management and recycling solutions
  • Reduce CO2 emissions by 5%

Water scarcity already affects every continent.

Around 1.2 billion people, or almost one-fifth of the world’s population live in areas of physical water scarcity. Another 1.6 billion people, or almost one quarter of the world’s population, face economic water shortage. There is enough freshwater on the planet for six billion people, but it is distributed unevenly and too much of it is wasted, polluted and unsustainably managed.

Between April 2021 and December 2021, Transguard Group:

– Recycled 19 million gallons of grey water, which was reused for our flushing system

– Saved 25 million gallons of water across Transguard’s entire property portfolio
